Virginia Blanton

Virginia Blanton has a diverse work experience. Virginia is currently the Director of Operations at Anthropic, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Member at TechGC starting in September 2022. From June 2021 to February 2023, they served as the Head of Legal and Operations at Fathom Radiant. Before transitioning to these roles, Virginia worked as an Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from May 2019 to June 2021 and as an Associate at Vinson & Elkins from September 2016 to April 2019. Virginia also gained experience as a Summer Associate at Hunton & Williams LLP in May 2015 and as a research assistant for Professor Risa Goluboff from May 2014 to May 2015. Prior to that, they held positions as a Clerk at the Supreme Court of Virginia in the Office of Chief Staff Attorney in June and July 2014. Virginia also contributed as a Pro Bono Volunteer for the University of Virginia in partnership with the Department of State from September 2013 to May 2014 and as a Pro Bono Volunteer for the Central Virginia Legal Aid Society, where they participated in UVa's Alternative Spring Break Program in March 2014.

Virginia Blanton attended Christopher Newport University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in History. Following this, they went on to study at the University of Virginia School of Law from 2013 to 2016, earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
