Sam Lewis

Executive Director at Anti Recidivism Coalition

Sam Lewis is the current Executive Director at Anti Recidivism Coalition. Prior to that, they worked as an Employment Programs Supervisor at Friends Outside in Los Angeles County from October 2012 to May 2015. In this role, they were responsible for supervising staff who provided re-entry employment services, coordinating day-to-day staff activities, providing staff support and accountability, and assisting with on-going program development. Sam also attended and facilitated various meetings, conducted staff evaluations, oversaw data entry and reporting processes, and assisted with program reports. During their time at Friends Outside, Sam made significant contributions to the organization's progress towards its contractual goals.

Sam Lewis has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration and Marketing from the Indiana Institute of Technology, an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from Kaplan College, and an Associates in Business Management from ICS. Sam Lewis is certified from the National Institute for Criminal Justice Reform in Transformative Mentoring Train The Trainer Course, Alternatives to Violence Project in Conflict Resolution, and The Financial Clinic in Change Machine Certificate of Completion of the Financial Security Core Training.
