Heiko Wirtz

Heiko Wirtz has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Heiko started their career at bonding studenteninitiative e.V. as a Member from April 2016 to August 2017. Heiko then worked as a Student Assistant at RWTH Aachen University from October 2016 to August 2017. Heiko later interned at Volkswagen AG as part of the VW Group IT Digital Factory from August 2017 to February 2018. Heiko then joined Werkzeugmaschinenlabor WZL der RWTH Aachen as both a Student Assistant from April 2018 to September 2018 and completed their Bachelor Thesis from June 2018 to September 2018. Heiko then interned at BMW Group in the Total Vehicle Development department from September 2018 to December 2018. Heiko was also an intern at McKinsey & Company as an Intern Digital Manufacturing at Digital Capability Center from October 2019 to December 2019. Heiko continued their journey at BMW Group, where they completed their Master Thesis from January 2020 to September 2020. Heiko then joined Digital Capability Center Aachen, where they held the roles of Project Engineer - Digital Manufacturing from October 2020 to March 2021 and Technical Project Manager - AI in Manufacturing from April 2021 to December 2021. Currently, they are serving as the Co-Founder & CTO at ANTICIPATE since August 2021.

Heiko Wirtz has a strong educational background in both business administration and mechanical engineering. Heiko obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2018. Heiko then pursued a Master of Science degree in the same field at RWTH Aachen University from 2018 to 2020. During their Master's studies, Heiko also attended Aalto University in 2019 as a part of an exchange program, where they focused on Mechanical Engineering.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Heiko has also obtained several certifications. In 2020, they received a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from RWTH Aachen University. Later, in 2021, they completed the Digital Shaper Program in Artificial Intelligence offered by TechLabs.
