Steffen Riemer

Steffen Riemer is an experienced executive currently serving as the Executive Director of the Business Unit Measurement at Anton Paar GmbH since September 2018, overseeing a diverse range of measurement technologies including lab density, viscometry, and FTIR analyzers. Previously, Riemer held significant roles at Tridonic from May 2006 to September 2018, including VP R&D/Program Director, managing R&D for professional lighting components, and leading product development of LED light sources. Riemer's career began at EPCOS, where contributions included setting up Supplier Quality Assurance functions and conducting research in ferroelastic multilayer ceramic components. Riemer holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Generic Management and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Applied Geosciences from Montanuniversität Leoben, along with a Matura from BG/BRG Köflach.
