Leah C. Kirkland

Leah C. Kirkland is an experienced grant manager with a background in pre and post award grant management. Leah C. began their career in 2007 at Emory University as a Fellowship & Professional Development Coordinator, where they were responsible for managing Professional Development Funds (internal seed grants). Leah C. then moved to Stanford University School of Medicine in 2013 as a Research Process Manager, Pre-award. In 2015, Leah transitioned to Emory University School of Medicine as a Grant Administrator, Post Award. Leah C. then moved to the New York Genome Center in 2018 as a Consultant, Grant Management. In 2019, Leah moved to the University of California, Berkeley as a Grant Administrator, Post Award, where they managed post-award activities for Physics department faculty. Finally, in 2021, Leah moved to Stanford University School of Medicine as a Research Finance Manager, where they managed pre and post award grant management for SCI Faculty. In 2022, Leah began working at Antora Energy as a Grant Manager.

Leah C. Kirkland received their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Valdosta State University in 2005. Leah C. then went on to earn their Master's Degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from Kennesaw State University in 2006.
