Jerome Scola has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jerome started their career in 2005 as a PHP, MySQL developer at Rila Ltd during a semester abroad program. In 2006, they worked as an IT Trainer at Business & Décision / C3Institute while completing their studies part-time.
From 2007 to 2010, Jerome worked at CMUNE as a Web Engineering Lead, responsible for creating and validating specifications for the Cmune.com portal and social applications. Jerome also participated in the development of a Chinese real estate vertical search engine called Fangzi100.
In 2010, Jerome co-founded AntVoice and served as a Board Member and Co-Founder. Jerome later took on the role of Chief Product & Strategy, leading a team of 30 big data scientists and experts. AntVoice provided innovative enterprise solutions for media and e-commerce websites to display personalized and relevant content.
From 2013 to 2015, Jerome was the Head of International Business at GWC Inc, a global membership-based platform connecting mobile innovators globally. Jerome facilitated networking and learning opportunities through executive trips, monthly private dinners, and the Global Mobile Internet Conference (GMIC).
In 2015, Jerome co-founded DayDayUp, a shared workspace provider and business community builder connecting Chinese and global innovators. Jerome also helped foreign startups expand their businesses through an acceleration program in Beijing.
Jerome was a Hub Co-founder and Board Member at La French Tech Beijing from 2015 to 2018, where they contributed to the growth and development of the tech ecosystem.
In 2018, Jerome became the Managing Partner at AYO Innovation Consulting, where they leverage disruptive technologies and services to tackle market and operational challenges for clients. Jerome has worked with leading organizations such as Sanofi, Roche, Microsoft, and many others.
In the same year, they also joined Slush as the CSO (S for Startups) for Slush China, a startup and tech conference held annually in different locations. Their role involved creating opportunities for startups to engage with VCs and potential customers.
