Carla Alexandra

Carla Alexandra is currently serving as a specialist in the Climate Adaptation for Nature Initiative at the Environment, Planning & Sustainable Development Directorate of the ACT Government, focusing on the integration of climate adaptation into planning and policy. As a PhD candidate at The Australian National University since June 2019, Carla has also contributed as a sustainable development tutor and research officer. Previous experience includes roles such as Project and Impact Manager at Race For The Baltic and University Tutor at The Australian National University. Carla's academic qualifications encompass a Doctor of Philosophy in Anticipatory Governance, climate adaptation, and conservation from The Australian National University, a Master's degree in Globalisation, Environment and Social Change from Stockholm University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Development Economics and International Development from The Australian National University.
