Fidel Fernando

Fidel Fernando is an experienced professional in the field of digital learning and educational technology, currently serving as the Manager of Digital Learning Initiatives at The Australian National University since December 2023. In this role, Fidel is responsible for overseeing the transition from Moodle to Canvas, focusing on data migration, training, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to this position, Fidel worked as a Learner Experience Strategist at the University of Technology Sydney, where product ownership included various learning technologies. At Macquarie University, a significant tenure included roles related to learning design and technology support, with responsibilities such as content creation for professional development and managing a team in the Learning Innovation Hub. Fidel holds a Master of Commerce in Business Management and Organisations and a Bachelor of Science from Macquarie University, alongside a high school diploma from Ateneo de Manila University.
