Kathryn Vukovljak

Kathryn Vukovljak is a seasoned communications and marketing professional currently serving as the Communications and Marketing Manager at The Australian National University since October 2021. Prior to this role, Kathryn accumulated extensive experience in journalism, working as a Journalist at Canberra CityNews from June 2006 to October 2021, and holding positions such as Chief Sub Editor at BBC from May 2004 to June 2006, and Assistant Chief Sub Editor at Time Inc. UK from March 2000 to May 2004. Early career endeavors included freelance journalism for Bauer Media Group – Australia and emap as well as serving as Senior Sub Editor at emap and Production Editor at Highbury House Communications plc. Kathryn holds a BA Hons degree in English and Philosophy from Keele University, where studies were completed from 1993 to 1996.
