Francisco Viña

Francisco Viña is an accomplished robotics professional with extensive experience in navigation software engineering and robotic development. Currently serving as a Senior Navigation Software Engineer at ANYbotics since August 2021, Francisco previously held positions such as Senior Robot Navigation Engineer at Rapyuta Robotics and Senior Roboticist at Pick-it 3D and Intermodalics, focusing on 3D perception algorithms and various mobile robotics projects. Francisco's earlier roles include a Senior Software Developer at Gleechi AB and a Postdoctoral Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, contributing to the SSF FACT project. Francisco began their career as a robotics intern at ABB and pursued a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Robotics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
