Waldemar Reusch has a diverse range of work experience in software development and research. Waldemar is currently working at AnyDesk Software GmbH as a Software Team Lead, where they are responsible for analyzing and renovating software, creating proof-of-concept projects, and leading hiring efforts.
Prior to this, Waldemar worked at Insilico Biotechnology as a Software Developer from 2015 to 2020. In this role, they established data engineering environments and developed analysis and modeling software using various technologies.
Before joining Insilico Biotechnology, Waldemar was a Diploma Student at the University of Stuttgart from 2013 to 2015. During this time, they developed a database system and user interface, as well as maintained servers.
Waldemar also had an internship at Insilico Biotechnology in 2013, where they focused on modeling a metabolic flux model for antibiotics production.
In 2012, Waldemar worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Stuttgart, where they developed a user interface for a enzyme sequence-structure-function database.
Waldemar'searlier experiences include working as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Stuttgart, where they assessed modeling techniques, and as a Research Assistant at Linköping University, where they conducted gene expression analysis.
Throughout their career, Waldemar has demonstrated strong technical skills in programming languages such as PHP, Java, JavaScript, and scripting languages like Mathematica and R. Waldemar has also gained experience in database management and server maintenance.
Waldemar Reusch completed their education at various institutions. From 1998 to 2002, they attended Martin-Andersen-Nexø Gymnasium Dresden, where they studied natural sciences. Subsequently, they enrolled at Johannes-Kepler-Gymnasium Reutlingen from 2002 to 2007 and obtained their Abitur, focusing on biology and physics. Reusch then pursued their higher education at the University of Stuttgart from 2007 to 2015, where they earned a Diploma in Biologe, t.o. in the field of Technische Biologie. In 2011, they briefly attended Linköping University, studying biology. Additionally, Reusch obtained a certification in Java EE from PC-COLLEGE GbR in March 2017.
