Abe Stanway

Abe Stanway is a seasoned technology leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in data science, engineering, and startups. As Co-founder and CTO of Amperon since September 2017, Abe has focused on electricity forecasting for the energy transition, contributing to raising $30 million and managing millions of meters across global grids. Additionally, Abe actively invests as an angel investor in several companies, including Grid Status, Gauntlet, and AnySignal. Previous roles include Research Engineer at Detectica, where Abe developed insider trading detection models, Data Scientist at McKinsey & Company, and Senior Engineer at Planet, where significant telemetry systems were architected. Earlier experiences include building innovative data solutions at Etsy and founding Hacker League, acquired by Intel. Abe holds a degree from Rutgers University.
