Karl Schulz

Karl Schulz is the President of Anysphere, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Karl engaged in economics research at Harvard University from January 2023 to January 2024, where contributions included co-authoring a paper with Larry Summers focused on interest rates and global consumer sentiment. Prior to Harvard, Karl served as CEO and co-founder of Pragma from January 2022 to March 2023, which developed the first zk-native oracle before its acquisition in early 2023. Additionally, Karl conducted policy research at the Deutscher Bundestag during 2019 alongside an internship as a summer analyst at TowerBrook Capital Partners L.P. Karl holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Computer Science from Harvard University and completed the Abitur at Gymnasium Kreuzau.
