Anythink Libraries
Maria Mayo-Peaseley is an experienced librarian currently serving as the Anythink Wright Farms Branch Manager and Nature Library Manager at Anythink Libraries since January 2016. Maria is actively involved in the design and development of the Anythink Nature Library, focusing on community outreach and partnerships in preparation for its opening. Previously, as an Adult Guide (Adult Services Librarian), Maria designed and hosted engaging programs for adults, provided reference services, and oversaw volunteer coordination. Maria's prior experience includes an internship with the National Park Service, where interpretive programs were designed for visitors, and a research assistantship at Furman University, contributing to a study on the El Salvadoran Civil War. Maria holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in History with a Minor in Latin American Studies from Furman University, along with a study abroad experience in Chile.
