Alexey Sebyakin

Alexey Sebyakin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alexey currently works as a Design Lead at Anytype since 2022. In their previous role as a Product Design Lead at Учи.ру team from 2020 to 2022, they led product design in middle and high school departments and art-directed educational content. Prior to that, they worked as a Module Leader at the British Higher School of Art and Design from 2017 to 2021, where they led a professional development module on BA (HONS) Graphic Design course. Alexey also founded Orientir Studio in 2017 and served as the Creative Director, working with start-ups, small businesses, and large IT companies on the design of their products. Before that, they worked as a Designer at Tsentsiper from 2014 to 2017, where they were involved in ideation, rapid prototyping, product and communication design for clients such as Russian Post, Sberbank, and VDNKH. Finally, as a Freelance Designer from 2010 to 2014, they worked on various projects including websites, brand identities, and printed matter for clients such as Strelka Institute, Yota devices, and the British Higher School of Art and Design.

Alexey Sebyakin attended the British Higher School of Art and Design from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Graphic design. Later, from 2020 to 2022, they studied at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Moscow, focusing on New Art Strategies.
