Sanchit Gupta

Sanchit Gupta is a Robotics Engineer at Anyware Robotics since October 2023, focusing on enhancing logistics operations through robotic solutions. Previously, Sanchit held a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at UC San Diego from July 2022 to October 2023, assisting in various engineering and mathematics courses, while also serving as a Graduate Student Researcher in the Advanced Robotics and Controls Lab, working on improving robotic arm grasping using Reinforcement Learning. Prior experience includes a Product Development Lead role at Planys Technologies from June 2015 to July 2021, overseeing the development of semi-autonomous and autonomous underwater robots, and a Lead Engineer role in acoustics. Sanchit was also a core team member at the Centre for Innovation in IIT Madras from May 2013 to May 2015 and participated in internships, including studying ship production processes at Cochin Shipyard Limited. Sanchit holds a Master of Science in Intelligent Systems, Robotics, and Controls from UC San Diego and a dual degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering as well as Applied Mechanics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
