Mélanie Francisco began their career as an intern at the United Nations in 2008. Mélanie then worked as an assistant to the General Director at CLS - Collecte Localisation Satellites before completing an internship in business intelligence process improvement. From 2010 to 2018, Mélanie held various procurement roles at CNES, including IT Procurement Manager and Procurement Project Manager. In 2018, they joined Schneider Electric as a Solar EMEAS Solutions Purchaser, responsible for managing purchasing activities for complex customer projects. Mélanie is currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at ANYWAVES, where they previously served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Quality Manager and Procurement & Quality Director.
Mélanie Francisco completed their education in various institutions. In 2016-2017, they pursued a Master's degree in Strategic Procurement Management DESMA at Grenoble IAE. Prior to this, from 2014 to 2015, they obtained a Negotiation certificate from Sciences Po. Mélanie also holds a Master's Degree in International Relations, specializing in Security/Defence Policy, which they acquired from Sciences Po Toulouse between 2007 and 2009. In 2006-2007, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business and International Marketing from the Institute of Technology, Sligo. Additionally, they achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Management from Université Pierre Mendès-France (Grenoble II) in the same year. Mélanie's educational journey began with a two-year University Higher National Diploma in Management of Small and Medium Organizations from Université Pierre Mendès-France (Grenoble II) from 2004 to 2006.
