Jose Muniz

Jose Muniz has over 14 years of work experience. Jose began their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer Intern at Thomson Reuters. In 2008, they worked as a Summer Technology Analyst at Morgan Stanley and as a Research Assistant at the MIT Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. In 2009, they were an Application Grid Product Development/Management Intern at Oracle. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Software Engineer on the TimesTen Database Engine Team at Oracle. From 2012 to 2016, they were an Engineering Manager for Data Collection at Sumo Logic. From 2016 to 2017, they were an Architect at LogicHub. From 2017 to 2021, they were Vice President of Engineering at People.ai. Since 2021, they have been Vice President of Engineering at Elevate Security. In 2022, they co-founded Anzen Insurance, where they currently serve as CTO.

Jose Muniz obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2009, and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT in 2010.
