Mark Rabone has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 1997 at Marks and Spencer as an Assistant Personnel Manager. Mark then worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Retail Human Resources before becoming an HR Advisor at B&Q in 2000. From 2001 to 2009, Rabone held various HR Manager roles at Focus DIY, including HR Controller for the Support Centre & Employee Relations and Retail and HR Shared Services.

In 2009, Rabone joined Centrica as an HR Business Partner in Social Housing, later transitioning to roles as an HR Business Partner in Business Energy Solutions and Head of Human Resources for Energy Efficiency. From 2016 to 2019, they served as the Head of Human Resources for UK Customer Operations, overseeing a team of four HR Managers and leading the Industrial Relations agenda.

From 2019 to 2021, Rabone worked as a Strategic People Partner at Turning Point, a social enterprise providing health and social care services. Currently, they hold the role of People Partnering Lead at AO and will soon assume the role of Head of Talent Acquisition and People Partnering.

Mark Rabone attended Birmingham City University from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor's degree with honors in Human Resources.
