Douwe-Dirk van der Zweep

Douwe-dirk van der Zweep has extensive experience in educational policy and labor conditions, currently serving as a Dagelijks bestuurder and penningmeester at AOb since 2013, where responsibilities include governance advising and policy development in education and employment conditions, particularly regarding social security and educational foundations. Prior roles include sectorbestuurder higher professional education at Algemene Onderwijsbond from 2005 to 2012, where involvement included collective labor agreement negotiations and advising on higher education policies. Additionally, Douwe-dirk has worked as a beleidsmedewerker in higher education at CNV Onderwijs and served as a bestuurslid for the Landelijke Studenten Vakbond. Academically, Douwe-dirk holds a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Rechtsgeleerdheid from Utrecht University, a doctoraal in geschiedenis/politieke cultuur from the University of Groningen, and a vwo diploma from Bogerman, with ongoing studies in pedagogiek at the University of Groningen.
