Sharlom Perera

Sharlom Perera is an experienced placement specialist in life insurance at Aon, having held this position since May 2021. Previously, Sharlom served as a senior actuarial analyst at nib Group from January 2020 to March 2021, and worked as a reporting analyst at PROCLAIM MANAGEMENT SERVICES LTD for a brief period in late 2019. Sharlom's extensive career in the insurance sector includes a decade at Sri Lanka Insurance, where roles spanned from actuarial analyst to senior assistant actuarial manager. Early career experience includes working as an actuarial executive at MBSL Insurance Co Ltd. Sharlom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Business, and Computational Mathematics from the University of Colombo and has completed several essential actuarial exams from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
