Katja Salminen

Katja Salminen is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and medical industries, currently serving as a Key Account Manager and Medical Science Liaison at AOP Orphan Pharmaceuticals GmbH since August 2019. Prior to this role, Katja worked at Actelion from February 2018 to August 2019 as a Key Account Manager, and at Bioventus as an Area Manager from October 2013 to January 2018. Katja started the career at Boehringer Ingelheim, holding the position of Territory Manager from May 2008 to October 2013. Katja's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Jyväskylä, along with a degree cum laude in the same field from the Summer University of Jyväskylä, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Jyväskylä Polytechnic.
