AORN
Anupama Nair is an experienced professional in the field of software engineering, currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at AORN since October 2014. Nair has held various roles including Senior Solutions Architect and Developer during this tenure. Prior experience includes a position as Tech Lead at Tech Mahindra from July 2007 to July 2014, along with roles as Team Leader and Technical Associate. Anupama Nair earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the Army Institute of Technology, Pune, and completed earlier education at Army Public School, Pune, and The Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan.

AORN is a non-profit membership association based in Denver, Colorado that represents the interests of more than 160,000 perioperative nurses by providing nursing education, standards, and clinical practice resources—including the peer-reviewed, monthly publication AORN Journal—to enable optimal outcomes for patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures. AORN’s 42,000 registered nurse members manage, teach, and practice perioperative nursing, are enrolled in nursing education, or are engaged in perioperative research. We define and advance best nursing practices for surgical patients by researching and distributing scientifically based recommendations. Our Mission: Our mission is to promote safety and optimal outcomes for patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures by providing practice support and professional development opportunities to perioperative nurses.
