Amer Jaber

Amer Jaber has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Amer is currently working as a Software Engineering Lead at BigHand since March 2022. Prior to this, they were a Co-Founder and Principal Engineer at KueMinds from October 2019 to January 2023, where they focused on face recognition and identification using AI and ML. Amer also developed cloud-native applications on Azure using various tools and technologies.

Before KueMinds, Amer worked as a Developer/Consultant at Iridium Technology from September 2021 to February 2022. Amer was also self-employed as a Backend Developer for a brief period from May 2019 to September 2019.

Amer has a strong background in software project management and development. Amer worked at Consolidated Contractors International Company for several years in various roles, including Software Project Manager, Lead Software Developer, Senior Software Developer, Software Developer, and Junior Software Developer. In these roles, they designed, developed, and maintained workflows, as well as tool agents and libraries using Java, C#, .NET, and other technologies.

Additionally, Amer gained experience as a Junior Software Developer at IMG-Mobile Solutions and as a .NET Developer at Ever-me earlier in their career.

Amer Jaber obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the American University of Science and Technology, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Amer also holds additional certifications, including "Advanced SQL: Logical Query Processing, Part 2" and "SQL Tips, Tricks, & Techniques" from LinkedIn, both obtained in 2021. In 2023, they obtained certifications in "Foundational C#" from Microsoft Certification Exam and "Pair Programming with AI" from LinkedIn.
