Jillian DeChaine, CMP, is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in multi-channel marketing campaigns and event management. Currently serving as Senior Marketing Manager and Strategist for Enterprise Events at AORN since September 2021, Jillian previously held roles as Manager of B2B Marketing and Marketing Generalist at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, where responsibilities included developing strategic campaigns to support organizational growth. Prior experience includes serving as Account Manager at MotivAction, managing meeting and incentive programs, and as Senior Meeting Planner at NextGen Healthcare, overseeing project management and customer service for various events. Jillian holds a BS in Marketing from St. Cloud State University and studied at the College of Saint Benedict.

AORN is a non-profit membership association based in Denver, Colorado that represents the interests of more than 160,000 perioperative nurses by providing nursing education, standards, and clinical practice resources—including the peer-reviewed, monthly publication AORN Journal—to enable optimal outcomes for patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures. AORN’s 42,000 registered nurse members manage, teach, and practice perioperative nursing, are enrolled in nursing education, or are engaged in perioperative research. We define and advance best nursing practices for surgical patients by researching and distributing scientifically based recommendations. Our Mission: Our mission is to promote safety and optimal outcomes for patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures by providing practice support and professional development opportunities to perioperative nurses.
