Thang Tran

Thang Tran has a strong background in mechanical engineering. Thang started their career in 1996 as a Mechanical Design Engineer at IBM, Almaden Research, where they worked until 2000. From 2000 to 2003, Thang worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at New Focus. Thang then joined AOSense, Inc in 2004 as a Principal Optomechanical Engineer, a role they held until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the Mechanical Engineering Manager at AOSense, Inc, before being promoted to Director of Mechanical Engineering in May 2018.

Thang Tran earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University in 1996. Thang continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2004.
