D Eli Sherman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. D Eli started their career as a Research Associate at Colorado State University, where they focused on atmosphere chemistry and aerosols measurement techniques. D Eli then worked at Flow Systems Inc. as a Sr. Systems Integration Engineer, developing software for gas and liquid test and measurement systems.
Sherman then joined Solix Biofuels as a Sr. Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, responsible for selecting instrumentation and control hardware and developing control systems for algae production plants. D Eli later moved on to EthosEnergy OAU, where they held various positions including Project Controls Engineer, Senior Project Controls Engineer, and Controls Solutions Engineering Manager, in which they worked on turbine controls and balance of plant projects.
Afterwards, Sherman worked at Rockwell Automation as a Lead Project Engineer, before joining Woodward, Inc. as a Staff Application Engineer. Currently, they are Chief Engineer Aero Solutions at AP4 Group.
Throughout their career, Sherman has been involved in various aspects of a project lifecycle, from quoting and design reviews to commissioning and aftermarket support. D Eli has also contributed to the development of standard methods and best practices for turbine control systems.
D Eli Sherman holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from Colorado State University, which was earned from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1993, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aeronautics, Mechanical Engineering at Miami University.
