Maki Pavlidis

Maki Pavlidis has a strong background in security architecture and consulting. They started their career at IBM, where they held various roles including Security Architect, Security Consultant, IAM Specialist, Web-application Security Specialist, and Development Technical Lead. After leaving IBM, they worked for Telstra as a Senior Domain Architect (Security), and later joined Australia Post as a Consulting Architect in Enterprise Security. They also worked for The Australian Government as an Enterprise Security Architect for Applications. Most recently, they have been working at Australia Post as a Security Architect, focusing on transformation and enablement. Their work experience spans over two decades, with a range of responsibilities and expertise in the field of security architecture.

Maki Pavlidis holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics & Computer Science from the University of Melbourne. In addition to this, Maki has obtained various certifications including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services, the SABSA Chartered Security Architect (SCF) from The SABSA Institute, and the TOGAF 9 Certified from The Open Group.
