Prashant Hegde

Prashant Hegde has gained extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Prashant currently holds the position of Product Head at APAC Financial Services Private Limited since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd. from January 2020 to July 2022 as an AVP & Product Manager-Rural Mortgage.

In 2018, Prashant worked at Karvy Financial Services Limited as a Product Head (MSME), contributing to the establishment of a new base for the company in the secured MSME lending space. This initiative achieved impressive productivity results within a short period of time.

Before that, they held the position of Assistant Vice President & Product Head at Vistaar Financial Services Pvt Ltd from April 2017 to January 2018. Prashant played a crucial role in driving business growth, product improvements, and strategic initiatives for the Secured Business Loan (MSME) product. From September 2014 to March 2017, they served as a Senior Product Manager at the same company.

Prashant began their career at Axis Bank in 2011, initially as a Deputy Manager-RM(SME) from October 2011 to May 2014 before being promoted to Manager-RM(SME) from June 2014 to September 2014. During this time, they gained expertise in understanding the business models of MSMEs and providing financial assistance tailored to their needs.

Prashant also has previous experience as a Relationship Manager at ING Vysya Bank from January 2011 to September 2011.

Prashant Hegde completed their B.Sc. in Agriculture from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, from 2002 to 2006. Prashant then pursued a Post Graduation Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) specializing in Rural Finance & Marketing, which they completed from 2008 to 2010.
