Gary Strachan

Gary Strachan is an experienced Electrical Project Engineer with a tenure at Apache Corporation since May 2005, overseeing electrical project work for all North Sea assets and managing the Forties switchboard replacement project. Prior to this role, Gary worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer and Electrical Engineer at Wood Group Engineering Limited from March 2003 to May 2005, where responsibilities included design service contracts for companies such as Amerada Hess and British Gas, along with managing electrical engineering scopes for gas compression facilities in the North Sea. Gary's career began at M Rosenblatt & Son in San Francisco, where, from November 1998 to July 2000, design services were provided for Chevron Shipping during a tanker overhaul project, focusing on equipment specification and integration.
