Mauricio Monzon

Mauricio Monzon is a seasoned petroleum engineer with extensive experience in production engineering, having worked at Apache Corporation since October 2015, currently serving as Production Engineering Lead for the Eastern Area. Monzon's expertise includes engineering support for New Mexico assets, mentoring junior engineers, and leading multidisciplinary teams in new well development. Prior to joining Apache, Monzon spent over a decade at Elliott Oil and Gas Operating Company, where roles ranged from Senior Petroleum Engineer to Drilling Engineer, focusing on well life cycle management, production optimization, and reservoir management. Mauricio holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
