Michael Bentz is an experienced geologist with a focus on exploration and development in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as an Exploration Geologist at Apache Corporation since March 2020, Bentz specializes in Western Desert assets, particularly in the Northwest Razzak exploration concession. Prior to this role, Bentz worked at Khalda Petroleum Company as an Exploration Geologist and held a position at Apache Corporation as a Development Geologist, where contributions included the development of the Wolfcamp and Spraberry landing zones. Earlier experience includes graduate research at UC Santa Barbara, internships in exploration geology, and technical support for geologists at Southwest Research Institute. Michael Bentz holds a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from Trinity University.
