Michael Villemarette

Michael Villemarette possesses extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Production Manager at Apache Corporation, overseeing water/CO2 floods in the Permian Basin and managing a team responsible for production optimization of 4,000 wells. Prior to this role, Michael held positions at Weatherford as Production Optimization Manager, consulting for multiple Fortune 500 E&P accounts, and acted as an Independent Consultant at Coleman Research. Michael's tenure at Oxy spanned over two decades and included roles such as Asset Manager, Base Surveillance Manager, and Non-Operated Joint Venture Manager, where significant cost reductions and ROI improvements were achieved. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
