Nolan McNamara has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations and roles. Nolan has worked as a Fundraising & Marketing Director at the Apalachee Center, The Center of Mental Health, and as a Regional Resource Development Director at The Salvation Army. Prior to that, Nolan worked as a Graduate Student Intern at Georgia River Network and as a District Executive at the Boy Scouts of America. Nolan also gained experience as a Wilderness Ranger Internship through Americorps at the Selway Bitterroot Frank Church Foundation and as an Environmental Stewardship Intern at the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control.
Nolan McNamara completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Outdoor Studies & Tourism at Maryville College from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Nonprofit Management & Leadership at The University of Georgia, which is expected to be completed in 2022.
