Stephan Wiesener

Stephan Wiesener is the founder of apaleo, a software company that provides solutions for the hospitality industry. Prior to apaleo, Stephan was the managing director and CTO of hetras Deutschland GmbH. Hetras was acquired by Shiji Information Technology in Beijing in 2016. Stephan was also a mentor at Seedcamp, a European startup accelerator, from 2011 to 2014. Stephan was also the co-founder and CTO of HouseTrip SA, a vacation rental booking website that was acquired by TripAdvisor in 2013. Prior to HouseTrip, Stephan was the co-founder and CTO of conject AG, a software company that was acquired by Aconex (now Oracle) in 2011. Stephan began their career at Accenture in 1997, where they worked as a manager for three years before moving on to founding their own companies.

Stephan Wiesener received their PhD in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich.
