Hailey Ra has a diverse work experience. Hailey started their career as a Senior Executive Assistant at the Korean Sport Association of New York State in January 2020, where they advised senior officials and served as the first point of contact for the president. In November 2022, they joined APAPA - Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association as the Director of Communications. In this role, they were responsible for managing communication strategies. Hailey also worked at Agape Black Belt Center from January 2015 to October 2023, holding various positions such as Office Administrator, Head Martial Arts Instructor, and Program Coordinator. Hailey pioneered a virtual martial arts program during the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in optimal student attendance levels and obtained funding to support increased operating costs. Hailey's administrative skills and leadership abilities were crucial in boosting student enrollment and restructuring martial arts programs. Currently, they are working as a People and Culture Assistant at Lafayette 148 New York, starting in January 2023.

Hailey Ra attended Pittsford Sutherland High School from 2015 to 2019, obtaining their high school diploma. Hailey then pursued their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management and Services at Baruch College from 2020 to 2024. Additionally, Hailey earned certifications in "How to Create a Career You Love" and "How to Develop Your Career Plan" from LinkedIn in 2023.
