Guangyang Hou

Guangyang Hou is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in process development and crystallization technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Process Development Engineer 2 at APC since December 2014, Guangyang specializes in creating innovative solutions for continuous and batch crystallization processes, with a focus on process modeling for optimization. Prior to this role, Guangyang was a Senior Research Fellow at University College Dublin, where research involved the design of an MSMPR crystallization platform and the exploration of various crystallization methodologies. Earlier experience includes working as a Chemical Engineer at PetroChina, where new solvents and high-efficiency trays were developed for natural gas purification. Guangyang holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University and a B.E. in Chemical Engineering and Technology from Chongqing University.
