Carl Tong

Carl is a Global Private Banker with Citi Private Bank’s Ultra High Net Worth Division based in Orange County, CA. In this role, he serves as a trusted advisor to families of significant wealth in developing customized plans centered around wealth management strategies, estate planning, and customized credit solutions covering everything from residential mortgages, commercial real estate and multi-family financing, aircraft advisory and financing, art advisory and financing, sports team acquisition advisory and finance, amongst other product lines. Prior to his career in private banking, Carl spent 15 years as a mid-corporate banker serving as both a Senior Vice President and Team Leader for Citi Commercial Bank and City National Bank covering private/public companies in Southern California (with annual revenues up to $1b+), advising and supporting them on their strategic growth and preservation initiatives. Carl is a founding member of Lilalo Capital, a family directed angel investment vehicle, and has provided Seed and Series A support for early stage startups looking to disrupt the healthcare, software (SAAS), AgTech and CPG spaces. He is also a founding member and General Partner of Miyabi Uni, a high-end Japanese restaurant based in Torrance, CA and serves on the Selection Committee for EvoNexus, a startup technology incubator with locations all over California.
