Cortnie Guerrero

Cortnie Guerrero is a seasoned professional in the field of analytical development and biologics characterization, currently serving as the Director of Analytical Development, CMC at Apellis Pharmaceuticals since January 2022. With over 13 years of experience at AbbVie as the Associate Director of Biologics Development, Cortnie led CMC analytical initiatives and managed a group focused on various protein drug development activities, including comparability, critical quality attribute assessments, stability programs, and method development. Cortnie holds a Ph.D. in Mass Spectrometry/Proteomics from UC Irvine, obtained in 2008.
