Neil Kade

Neil Kade is a Senior Scientist and Protein Chemistry Lead at Apellis Pharmaceuticals since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Takeda, where responsibilities as Scientist II focused on vaccine research, particularly the development of the dengue vaccine Qdenga, and at Jounce Therapeutics as Associate Scientist and Senior Associate Scientist in antibody discovery for cancer immunotherapies. Previous positions also include Senior Research Associate I at the Broad Institute, Scientific Associate at NIBR, and undergraduate/graduate student at Illinois State University, along with a guest role at Aarhus Universitet. Kade's military background includes service as an Infantryman/Paratrooper in the US Army. Educational qualifications consist of a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from Illinois State University.
