Patricia Meuse

Patricia Meuse currently serves as the Vice President and Head of Clinical Development and Program Management at Apellis Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities have included roles as Executive Director for Neurology & Rare Disease and Global Ophthalmology Lead since May 2021. Prior to this, Patricia held various positions at Galderma from 2011 to May 2021, including Sr. Director of the Global Toxin Program and Director of Clinical Development, focusing on global clinical development and medical affairs. Earlier in the career, Patricia worked at Alcon from 2001 to 2011, progressing from Sr. Manager in Regulatory Affairs to Sr. Manager in Biostatistics & Data Management. Patricia began the professional journey as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2001. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biological & Experimental Psychology/Neurobiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS from the University of Dayton.
