Rüdiger Haug

Rüdiger Haug is a highly experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Manufacturing, Science and Technology (MSAT) - Technical Operations - CMC at Apellis Pharmaceuticals since April 2023. Previously, Rüdiger held multiple senior roles at Bachem from August 2013 to March 2023, including Senior Director and Head of Oligonucleotide Manufacturing, Director of Large-scale Oligonucleotide Production, Vice President of Production, and Director of Production, focusing on cGMP manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Rüdiger commenced a career in academia as a member of the scientific staff at Universität Stuttgart from March 2009 to July 2013 while obtaining a Ph.D. in Chemistry. Rüdiger also earned a Diplom in Chemistry from the University of Stuttgart between 2004 and 2009.
