Damien Steinier

Head Of Upstream Supply Chain at Aperam

Damien Steinier has a diverse work experience in the metallurgical industry. Damien began their career at Centre de Recherches Métallurgiques (Liège) in 1990 as a Research Engineer. Damien then joined Cockerill Sambre in 1996, where they worked in Process Development until 2002. Steinier then moved to ArcelorMittal and held various roles such as Process Manager, Metallurgical Methods, and Head of HSM Quality & Metallurgy from 2002 to 2011. Since 2011, they have been working at Aperam, initially as the Head of HSM Production and currently as the Head of Upstream Supply Chain.

Damien Steinier attended Collège du Sacré-Cœur Charleroi from 1977 to 1983. Damien then pursued their Bachelor's degree at Université catholique de Louvain from 1983 to 1988, majoring in Electro-mécanicien (modélisation/automatisme). Afterwards, they continued their education at the same university from 1988 to 1989, completing a degree in Management with a focus on Gestion des Entreprises.
