Sven Huygens

Sven Huygens is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in various roles related to system engineering, IT support, and project management. Currently, as the Head of Local IT Support at Aperam since February 2021, Huygens oversees knowledge exchange, local IT processes, and training for global IT tools, ensuring efficient communication and operations across multiple business divisions. Prior experience includes consulting as a freelance IT advisor, serving as a Senior System Engineer and Project Manager at multiple companies, including Materialise, where significant contributions were made towards infrastructure integration and TISAX audit preparation. Huygens possesses a diverse technical background that encompasses identity and access management, endpoint security, and cloud support, reinforced by a strong educational foundation in computer science and electronics.
