Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Aperia Technologies

Ed Jarvis has worked in the field of mechanical engineering since 1995. Ed began their career as a Research Assistant at Harvey Mudd College in 1995, followed by a Summer Intern role at TRW Space and Electronics in 1997. In 1998, they were a Research Assistant and Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan. In 1999, they became a Mechanical Engineer at JetCell, Inc., which was acquired by Cisco Systems, Inc. in 2000. At Cisco, they were a Mechanical Engineer, designing outdoor and indoor wireless electronic enclosures, mounts, and cabling. In 2010, they moved to Svaya Nanotechnologies as a Mechanical Engineer, where they designed, built, and improved scale-up equipment for a novel thin film deposition process. Finally, in 2013, they joined Aperia Technologies as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

Ed Jarvis attended Harvey Mudd College from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Ed then went on to the University of Michigan, where they obtained a Master of Science in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering in 1999.
