Clayton J. has a long and varied work experience. Clayton began their career in 2000 as a System/Network Administrator & Help Desk Supervisor for the US Army. In 2001, they joined the National Security Agency as a Cyber Security and Engineer. From 2006 to 2017, they worked at the U.S. Pacific Command, serving as a Senior Advisor & FBI Task Force, CND and Cyber Incident Response Team Lead, and Project Manager and Solution Architect. In 2017, they moved to the U.S. European Command as a Cyber Lead & Solution Architect. In 2019, they joined both Rivera Group and EAGLE6 as a Chief Technology Officer. At Rivera Group, they were responsible for leading teams driving enterprise software development, external product development, implementation, and enterprise application management, while also serving as a cyber evangelist. In 2022, they joined Aperio Global, LLC as the Chief Technology Officer.
Clayton J. has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Military Operations from Troy University and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Clayton also holds a Master’s-Level Certificate in Digital Forensics & Cyber Law from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In addition, Clayton J. has obtained a Hacker Techniques, Exploits, and Incident Handling certification from the SANS Institute in 2018, an ITILv3 Certification from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers in 2017, an Intrusion Detection System / Intrusion Prevention System Certification from the National Security Agency in 2010, and an Information System Security Officer Certification (ISSO) from the US Army in 2007.
