Terry Adams Jr

Terry Adams Jr has had a long and varied career in the IT field. Terry began their career in 2008 as a Help Desk Technician for Toyota Financial Service. In 2009, they moved to Ares Protective Service Group as a Database Administrator. In 2012, they joined the US Department of Homeland Security as both a Database Administrator and an Oracle Database Administrator. In 2014, they took on the role of Lead Oracle DBA at DirectViz Solutions, LLC. In 2019, they became a Small Business Owner at Lyndon Adams Health & Wellness, LLC. Terry'smost recent position was as Lead DBA Oracle/ SQL Server/Sybase at Aperio Global, LLC starting in 2022. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for server administration, database upgrades, performance tuning, database backup, database restore, and database replication. Terry currently holds a Secret clearance from the Department of Defense.

Terry Adams Jr. graduated from Meade High School in 2002 and subsequently obtained an Associates Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Hudson Valley Community College in 2005. In 2013, they obtained a number of certifications, including an Oracle 11g Database Administration Certified Associate from Oracle University, and CompTIA Security+ ce from CompTIA.
