Julie Rogers, CPA, MSA, CHAE has extensive experience in accounting and finance in the hospitality industry. Julie currently serves as the SVP of Hotel Accounting at Banyan Tree Management since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Corporate Accounting Manager at MCR Hotels from January 2020 to July 2022. Julie also held the position of Chief Accounting Officer at Quorum Hotels & Resorts from August 2016 to October 2018.
Before that, they worked at PM Hotel Group as the Vice President of Accounting from February 2015 to August 2016. In this role, Julie provided executive oversight to the hospitality accounting team and led various strategic projects such as implementing the UltiPro Human Capital Management system and upgrades to USALI 11th Revised Edition and Solomon. Additionally, they served as the budget leader for the company.
Prior to their role at PM Hotel Group, Julie worked at Crestline Hotels & Resorts where they held various positions, including Regional Director of Accounting from May 2009 to December 2014. In this role, they had accounting oversight for a large hotel portfolio, including decentralized full-service, centralized select service, and centralized full-service hotels. Julie also had direct contact with ownership, asset managers, banking and trust, and external audit groups. During their time at Crestline Hotels & Resorts, they led various corporate projects, such as internal audits, updates to SOP and SOX narratives, and process and technology improvements.
Julie Rogers, CPA, MSA, CHAE obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Christopher Newport University. Julie then pursued further education and completed a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) from Western New England University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Julie has also obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
