Virpi Mustaparta

Virpi Mustaparta has extensive work experience in procurement and purchasing roles. Virpi is currently working as the Head of Procurement at Apetit Oyj since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Purchasing Manager at Kiilto from 2018 to 2021, where they were responsible for the procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and labels. Virpi also served as the Strategic Purchaser at Kiilto in 2018.

Before their role at Kiilto, Virpi worked at Finnsementti Oy as a Category Manager, where they led various categories such as raw materials, fuels, and bulk vessels. Virpi was responsible for strategic procurement, logistics, supplier auditing, and negotiating contracts. Virpi worked in this position from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Strategic Purchaser at Finnsementti Oy from 2009 to 2016, focusing on strategic sourcing, supply chain management, transportation, and logistics.

Virpi also has experience in purchasing and logistics roles at companies such as Sunborn Saga Oy, Kodin Ykkönen, K-Citymarket, Metso, K-Plus Oy, and Deutsche Post AG. Virpi has held positions such as Purchasing Manager, Department Manager, and Executive Assistant in these companies.

Virpi Mustaparta has a diverse education history. From 1986 to 1989, they attended Siilinjärven yläaste ja lukio. Following this, from 1989 to 1991, Virpi studied at the Commercial School of Kuopio, obtaining a degree in Merkonomi with a focus on marketing. Later on, they pursued further education at the University of Tampere from 1994 to 1999, earning an MBA with a specialization in marketing and languages. In 2017 to 2018, Virpi attended the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, studying Hankintojen johtaminen (HAJO), specifically focusing on purchasing and procurement.

Additionally, Virpi has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In October 2013, they completed the SAP P2P certification, and in March 2013, they obtained the EA 1 (First Aid) Ensiapukurssi certification from SPR (unspecified institution).
