Craig Mulholland

Craig Mulholland has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Craig is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Apex Advice Group since March 2022. Before that, they held various positions at ANZ, including Managing Director Wealth & Private Bank from October 2018 to June 2021, Managing Director, Wealth from February 2017 to October 2018, and General Counsel & Company Secretary from July 2011 to January 2017. Prior to ANZ, they worked at Telecom New Zealand as Group Company Secretary from September 2007 to June 2011. Craig also served as Head of Technology & Capability Planning from September 2006 to August 2007 and General Counsel Strategic Projects from April 2006 to September 2006. Before Telecom, they worked at AAPT as General Manager Customer Services Australia from October 2004 to March 2006 and General Counsel Australia from May 2002 to September 2004. Craig started their career as a Senior Solicitor at Chapman Tripp, where they worked from 1995 to 1999, handling banking and finance, corporate, and mergers and acquisitions matters. Prior to that, they served as the General Manager at Morrin Furnishers from October 1985 to February 1988.

Craig Mulholland has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Canterbury, which they obtained from 1994 to 1995. Craig also holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Canterbury, earned from 1993 to 1994. Additionally, they have a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Otago, which they obtained from 1988 to 1992. Furthermore, they pursued executive education and leadership programs, including an Executive Residency in Digitisation & Industrialisation from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2017 and an Executive Leadership Programme from Duke Corporate Education in 2013. Craig Mulholland also has certifications as a Chartered Member from the Institute of Directors in New Zealand, obtained in 2021.
